The Nest × Yale Smart Lock is a tamper-proof, keyless smart deadbolt developed jointly by Nest and Yale. It replaces your traditional deadbolt and provides enhanced security and convenience without needing a physical key. Key Features: Keyless Access & Remote Control Lock or unlock your door from anywhere using the Nest app. You can create up to 20 unique passcodes for family, guests, or trusted individuals. Activity Alerts & History Receive notifications when the door is locked, unlocked, or tampered with. View a history of who entered and exited over the past days. Automatic & Remote Locking The lock can automatically re-lock itself when you leave or after a preset time. You can also lock it remotely via the app. Secure Communications & Installation Uses an encrypted protocol called Weave to communicate with a Nest Connect device. Fits standard door thicknesses from approximately 35 mm to 57 mm. Robust Security & Weather Resistance Built to ANSI/BHMA Grade 2 standards. Withstands rain, dust, snow, and temperatures from −30 °C to 60 °C. Alerts you if tampering is detected. Battery Operation & 9V Backup Powered by four AA batteries lasting about a year. Low battery alerts appear on the app and keypad. If the batteries die completely, you can temporarily power the lock with a 9 V battery to enter your passcode. Privacy Mode & Safety Locks Privacy Mode disables keypad access when needed. After five incorrect passcode attempts, the keypad locks for 90 seconds and sends an alert.
