Buy NowApple has once again raised the bar. The new generation isn’t just about making the devices a little faster or adding a new colour. This time, Apple is summoning a powerful new iPhone, its first-ever foldable iPhone, smarter Apple Watches and a next generation of AirPods.
From the iPhone 18 Pro to the brand-new iPhone Duo, and from the health-centric Apple Watch Series 12 to the adventure-ready Apple Watch Ultra 4, Apple's newest collection is undoubtedly crafted around one notion: help make the technology of everyday more handy, wiser and more linked.
And don’t forget the AirPods 5 and Pro 2, with improved noise cancellation, smarter features, and a better listening experience.
So what is new -- and is it really worth upgrading?
The iPhone 18 Pro debuts with upgrades that photographers, content creators and everyday smartphone users will recognize.
One of its the major features is the brand new 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture. Rather than just adding more megapixels, Apple is providing the camera with more light, depth and photography. This can make a difference when capturing images in different lightings or creating videos.
But a camera is not the only draw. The iPhone 18 Pro is equipped with the new A20 Pro chip, and Apple is also promising the longest battery life ever for an iPhone. The iPhone 18 Pro Max allows up to 43 hours of video play.
So when I say this is not just an upgrade for people who want a newer iPhone, I’m serious. It is designed for those who need more power, better cameras and longer-lasting battery.
We've all been wondering the same thing for years: When is Apple going to make a foldable iPhone?
Now, that’s the answer.
Introducing iPhone Duo, the first foldable iPhone from Apple.
This is probably the most exciting new product in Apple’s 2026 line-up, simply because it shatters what an iPhone can look like. When opened, iPhone Duo offers a massive 7.6-inch folding display for users, while the outer screen is 5.4 inches. Apple says it is the largest display ever used on an iPhone.
It folds up like a clamshell phone and opens out like a book, allowing you to use it as a traditional smartphone when folded and in a much larger screen size when unfolded.
Think about watching video on a larger screen, running two apps at the same time, browsing while taking notes, or playing games on a screen that’s closer to a small tablet.
That’s what makes iPhone Duo seem more like a new category than just another iPhone.
The emphasis Apple Watch Series 12 has been on health and everyday wellness.
Apple has developed a new Health Sensing System, however, which works together with the heart rate sensor and offers more heart rate readings.
The watch also offers some tips on stress, recovery, and overall health, so it’s not simply a way to check notifications.
With its Always-On Retina display, health features, and overhauled watch OS experience, Series 12 is for those who want technology that happily recedes into the background throughout their day.
While the Series 12 is focused on your day-to-day health and convenience, the Apple Watch Ultra 4 has a more rugged design.
Sporting a 49mm titanium case, the Ultra 4 targets outdoor sports, extreme sports and intense training.
Battery life is the biggest enhancement. Apple says Ultra 4 can deliver up to 45 hours of Max Extended Workout tracking, so it is especially appealing for those who spend long hours training or adventuring outdoors.
The latest AirPods 5 might have the same look as the former version, but there is so much going-on inside.
Apple is offering a more powerful Active Noise Cancellation, with up to 1.5× the ANC as that of AirPods 4 with ANC.
They also include Adaptive Audio, Transparency mode, personalised Spatial Audio, Siri AI and Live Translation.
So the newest AirPods are just for music listening. They’re turning into another interface through which to experience Apple’s intelligent ecosystem.”
One of the iPhone 18 Pro's most notable new features is its 48MP Fusion Main camera, which is a new variable-aperture camera The bonus for anyone who loves taking photographs is simple: having more say over how light and distance is taken by the camera.
Enhanced low light photography and video Low light improvements are applied to video as well.
After that is the A20 Pro chip, which is built for heavy-use activities like gaming, video editing, AI capabilities and multitasking. Another strong reason to get the upgrade is battery life.
Apple says it is the longest battery life in an iPhone, with the iPhone 18 Pro Max providing up to 43 hours of video playback.
The iPhone 18 pro in Qatar is priced at QAR 4,499 as per the up-to-date listing of Apple store.
iPhone Duo — The Big Upgrade That Changes the Equation
The iPhone Duo is where Apple’s new line really starts to feel different.
With a 7.6 inch inner folding screen, it offers users a wider viewing space, while the 5.4-inch outer display makes the phone usable when folded.
The device utilizes a titanium foldable chassis and a precision hinge. It also houses Apple’s A20 Pro chip, a two-battery system and a 48MP Dual Fusion camera system.
Battery life is particularly intriguing in a foldable. Apple says iPhone Duo can provide up to 31 hours of video playback on the inner display, and up to 44 hours with the outer display.
The starting price in Qatar is QAR 8,199 for the 256GB model. Upgrading storage options are 512GB, 1TB and 2TB, with the 2TB model cost 11,699 QAR.
The phone can be pre-ordered starting from October 16, 2026, with availability on October 23 in Qatar.
Apple Watch Series 12 - Smarter Health Monitoring The Apple Watch Series 12 is now available in Qatar starting from QAR 1,549 .
It is available in 42mm and 46mm sizes and has an Always-On Retina display with 2,000 nits brightness.
The new Health Sensing System delivers more frequent HRV readings and advanced health insights, while features like ECG, heart-rate notifications, sleep tracking, and recovery information ensure the watch is helpful all day long.
Series 12 appears to be a strong all-rounder for someone who primarily wants a smartwatch for daily health, fitness and convenience.
Apple Watch Ultra 4 — Battery That Keeps Going
The Ultra 4 is available in Qatar for a starting price of QAR 2,999.
Its 49mm titanium build, 3,000-nit display, 100-metre water resistance, precision dual-frequency GPS, and improved battery life make it the more adventurous option.
Apple claims that the watch has 50 hours of normal battery life and 84 hours of battery life in Low Power Mode. It also has the ability to charge from 0 to 80% in approximately 45 minutes.
Ultra 4 is the more powerful option for runners, hikers, divers, cyclists, and anyone who wants the longest possible battery life from an Apple Watch.
AirPods 5 — Better Sound Without The Complexity
AirPods 5 are priced at QAR 399, and the Wireless Charging Case version is available for QAR 479 in Qatar.
The basic model delivers four hours of listening time with ANC enabled on a single battery charge, while the Wireless Charging Case model is able to offer five hours on a charge.
They also bring IP57 dust and sweat and water resistance, personalised Spatial Audio, Adaptive Audio and Live Translation.
For anyone who spends their day toggling between music, calls, meetings, and chats, these little enhancements could make listening a little easier every day.
The question is not whether these products are better.
Of course they are.
The real question is: Do they merit an upgrade?
If you already have a relatively recent iPhone and you're mostly using your phone for calls, social media and light browsing, the iPhone 18 Pro likely won't feel like a must-have update for you.
But for photographers, creators, gamers, and those who simply want the latest and greatest camera and performance technology, the upgrades become significantly more impactful.
The iPhone Duo is different.
There is no previous Apple foldable to compare it with. It is a first: its bigger screen, foldable design and ability to run multiple applications side by side give you a completely new way to use iPhone.
Then there is the Apple Watch Series 12. Its enhancements in health sensing make it an attractive choice for those seeking enhanced wellness and recovery metrics.
Ultra 4 is a better choice for true athletes and outdoor lovers, though, due to its ruggedness, advanced GPS features and unparalleled battery life.
Also if you just want better everyday audio without taking the plunge to buy Apple's priciest earbuds, AirPods 5 have some useful improvements in noise cancellation, sound and smart features.
There is no single champion since each product addresses a unique issue.

AirPods 5 add up.
This year, Apple's latest generation phones feel different, because they are not shaped by just one huge upgrade.
The iPhone 18 Pro takes the camera, performance and battery life of a smartphone to the next level. The iPhone Duo brings Apple into the foldable-phone age with a whole new form factor. Apple Watch Series 12 delivers even smarter health sensing to the wrist while Ultra 4 delivers on endurance, adventure and long-lasting power. More significant is that Apple's ecosystem is becoming strangely more interoperable.
